Two-time Colorado state wrestling champion and All-American who wrestled at the University of Northern Colorado before a championship-run transition to football — and now the founder of Rocky's eXp.
From the mat, to the gridiron, to your corner
Devin Rothrock built his foundation in wrestling, finishing his prep career as a two-time Class 5A state champion with a record of 55–2 and a national ranking inside the top 20. Injuries limited his high school football to just five games, but the competitive standard never wavered.
He carried that standard to the University of Northern Colorado, where he wrestled and redshirted in 2015. Chasing the game he loved, Devin then made the move to Arizona Western College, transitioning from linebacker to fullback during his redshirt freshman season under head coach Tom Minnick.
He played in 12 contests and helped clear the way for Greg Bell III (1,187 yards, 7 TDs) and Trevaughn Rodriguez (944 yards, 16 TDs) — a backfield that combined for more than 2,000 rushing yards in 2016. That Arizona Western team went 11–1, falling in the NJCAA National Championship Game to Garden City (Kan.) CC by a score of 25–22.
